Try a clearer photo: good light, full receipt in frame, and text that isn’t blurry. Check you have a stable internet connection, then scan again.

If it keeps failing, email us with a short description of what you saw (you don’t need to paste technical error text).

Cheque-Mate uses AI to read receipts. Results can miss or misread lines—always check against your paper or PDF receipt and adjust assignments in the app before you settle up.

Collaborative splits need an internet connection. The host shares a link; participants open it on their iPhone to join. Session data is stored so the group can work together; it isn’t kept forever—see our Privacy Policy for retention.

Subscriptions are purchased through Apple In-App Purchase. To manage or cancel: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

If you reinstall the app or change devices, open the paywall or Settings → Subscription in Cheque-Mate and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.

Apple processes subscription payments. Refund requests go through Apple’s support and billing tools—not through this email for payment disputes.

Access to Contacts is optional—it speeds up adding names. You can add people manually without it. To change permission later: iOS Settings → Cheque-Mate → Contacts.

Cheque-Mate is an iPhone app. Install from the App Store and use a version of iOS that the store listing says is supported.
